Rank Nine Support
Need help with Rank Nine? Email tabiya.chess@gmail.com. Rank Nine does not require an account, so there is no password or username to include.
When reporting a problem
Please include:
- the App version shown at the bottom of Rank Nine’s Settings screen;
- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- what you expected to happen and what happened instead;
- the steps that reproduce the problem; and
- a screenshot or short screen recording, if you are comfortable sharing one.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information.
Saved progress
Rank Nine saves the active run and progress locally. It does not provide account-based or cross-device sync. If Continue Run is missing or a saved run does not resume correctly, close and reopen the App and confirm that you are using the latest version. Do not delete the App as a first troubleshooting step, because doing so may remove local progress.
Settings includes separate controls to delete the current saved run, reset career statistics, and reset tutorial and discovery data. These actions are destructive and cannot be undone from within Rank Nine.
Music and sound effects
Rank Nine includes one main theme used throughout the App, plus separate sound effects. Open Settings and confirm that Music and Sound FX are enabled. They have separate controls. Also check the device volume and whether audio is being routed to headphones, speakers, or another device.
You can hear the public supporting reference for the included main theme, “Gameling” by jarvozan on SoundCloud. SoundCloud playback is optional and separate from Rank Nine; the App bundles its music locally and does not contact SoundCloud during play.
Daily Reminder
The reminder is optional and scheduled locally for 11:00 a.m. To use it, turn on Settings > Daily Reminder and allow notifications when iOS asks. If it does not appear, open iOS Settings > Notifications > Rank Nine and confirm that notifications are allowed. Rank Nine does not use remote push notifications.
Local Run Data and bug reports
Local Run Data is optional and off by default. When enabled, it starts with the next run and remains on your device. If support asks for an export, use Settings > Local Run Data > Prepare Export > Share Run Data. Review the destination before sending. You can delete the local records afterward without deleting your save or career progress.
